Surgery,surgery!

Surgery,surgery, surgery.  Just seems like part of your life as you get older. Recovery gets harder when we aren't Spring chickens any more. Lately I sit a lot and watch tv while I try to get well. Watching the Donald Trump phenomenon and I understand where all the anger comes from. But my gosh this man is such a poor role model for a President for our country!

I guess this will a play out and no use worrying about it. All part of Gods plan.

I'm still here.. took a break for awhile. I used to write some things which I titled Gone Roamin', but seems some others have taken over that name for telling about their travels, so guess I'll have to come up with another title since I didnt publish it. C'est la vie.

I'll be back when I think on it.

Regarding Islamic Jihadists

It seems to me that if Christians would get with it and return to church attendance it would be a show of solidarity against these Muslim extremists. Otherwise one day soon your children might end up forced to join Islam. And they will force them to pray 5 times a day and attend mosque. It won't be the United States anymore. Think on it hard 

Nice and cloudy

Woke up to cloud cover and just barely light. Got a little rain last night which we always need. My dog is almost at the end of life and I'll have to deal with that soon. 

Been a long time

The hill country has been so dry. I wish we'd get some rain. Lots of prayers needed. 

My little dog

She's got a growth inside her head and it is the worst kind. She's still vital at13 and loves to go roam the hill and bring back an occasional trophy of a bone from a deceased animal. I will miss her terribly and will get another companion dog eventually. 

Seems like forever

I continue to improve on my walking capabilities and look forward to the kids visiting  the weather has turned beautiful except for the wind. Need rain desperately.
